Dear Friends,

 

God is good all the time and always worthy of all praise.

We finished a week of VBS in Centerville, PA. and saw 8 kids come to Christ. What a blessing it is to be a part of the vessel God uses to bring young souls, young lives to Himself. We have moved on to Ridgeley, WV and begun yet another week of VBS. Last evening we were blessed to see three children come to Christ as we began the VBS here.

 

I am writing to you asking that you remember my brother David in prayer. Since the end of May he has been in the hospital all but about five days. He was in the small hospital in Elk City, OK. then transferred to Oklahoma City to a major hospital there. He was discharged and spent about five days at home before being taken by ambulance back to the Elk City hospital. They have now transfered him back to another of the hospitals in Oklahoma City.

 

Since his return to the hospital they have been chasing what they believe is some kind of cancer but they can't find what kind. They ran some tests in the small hospital but have yet to receive all of the results back. In the current hospital they informed him this morning that they are going to remove a full lymph node tomorrow rather than a simple biopsy for study.

 

He is in quite a lot of pain and discomfort with high fevers and sweating. Now he is swelling all over his body and very uncomfortable.

 

This is a very difficult time for David and his wife JoAnn ( who also suffers from MS). My mother has been there through the entire time and she is is weary from late nights, early mornings and long drives.

 

Please pray for doctor's wisdom, but pray especially for the leading of the Lord and that His grace and peace may be felt in their hearts and minds.
