WE HAVE LABORED IN HOPE OF FRUIT THAT WILL REMAIN!

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
(1 Corinthians 3:7-9)

.
Dear Friends,
Times are tough! No question about it! It seems to come at us from all sides. All of us are facing issues that are troubling. However we are determined to look on the bright side.

The Apostle Paul said, during tough times, that "in all these things we are more than conquerors" and we proved that this summer. It has been tough and we are very tired but, God gave us the victory. He met all our needs and gave us souls for our hire!

I'm home now and getting ready to ssaddle up for a full schedual of Fall and Winter ministry. However, before I get too involved in hitting the road agains I wanedt to tell a little about our 2009 Cowboy Camps so that you can rejoice with me and give God the praise and glory.

We had 6 camps in four States and 16 street meetings using the Gospel Street Bus. We had 60 campers and, so far as we could tell, there were 26 (20 youth and 6 adults) who responded publically to the appeal of the gospel for salvation. We will attemp now to follow-up on each new believer with a choice piece of literature. We had a most dedicated and talented staff of "Bible Buckaroos" and a host of volunteer adults to help for which we are extremely thankful.

Some of the following comments and pictures will help give you and idea of what the last 10 weeks have been like.

Sincerely in Christ

Bible Buckaroo Posse
Every where we went people were attracted to the "Posse."

Posse Group
The gospel was taken to the streets. We were given an inthusiastic welcome in every location. Especially were we  welcomed by Wal Mart to minister in there larking lot.
we were welcomed
In Bangor, Michigan by the City Manager (Mike Sulden) and enjoyed a lunch with him at McDonalds and freedom to minister on the city streets and in the city park.

The "Posse" performed their cowboy skills, called attention to the gospel with skits, poetry, testimonies and distributed literature.

This encouraging note came the other day from "Operation Rebirth" -"Cowboy Lee, your young people did an excellent job, their skill with the ropes and whips was very impressive. It was inspiring to hear their testimonies of how God is working in their lives today. It was good for our boys to see other young people excited about the Lord and wanting to serve Him."

I have prepared a "photo"CD, that was captured on camera by Gary Johnson who is a professional photographer who lives in Bangor, and it is available to you, upon request, with your promise to pray for these young people and the ministries of Bible Doctrines to Live By.

A BIG thanks to Mike and Gary is in order too. You can thank Mike at 257 W. Monroe, Bangore, MI 49013 and Gary at 621 Alexander, Bangor MI 49013

The Following note speakes for many who attended:

"I had many prayers answered about coming to the Cowboy Family Camp -- and they were all answered! We had a wonderful time. Our son really loved playing guitars with you and "Red." Please know that Cowboy Camp was a blessing to all three of us!!"Intercessio

Intercession Needed

God's work in not accomplished by a word of prayer but rather by seasons of prayer.  The summer camping season is over and we return home knowing that God's Word will not return void. God has blessed and souls were saved. However, there is much continuing work to do. We must follow up on all the new believers, Plans need to be made and much work needs to be done as we begin immediately to plan for next year. We ask a favor; would you put us on your prayerlist and remember us in prayer?  Remember that Jesus is coming and we must work while it is yet day. Thanks and God Bless you.
