Its been a long time since I've posted information on my sojourns so I will
try to catch you up to speed. December found us celebrating a full year as
residents of Michigan having made that long move from Pennsylvania. We are so
thankful that that task is complete. Its amazing how much "stuff" we
accumulated over the years. To tell you the truth, of all the "stuff we got rid
of we can't think of anything we wish we would have kept. We purchased a
Condominium and have appreciated that someone else is responsible for shoveling
and mowing.

We praise God for the sale of our home in Pennsylvania. Our house was on the market for a year and a half and many times we wondered what God had in store, always reminding ourselves that the sale of our home was not a difficult task for God, who knows the beginning from the end. After a year and a half on the market we had only 3 weeks to pack and vacate during the coldest and windiest week-end of the winter. Thanks so much to the people from our home church who so graciously helped us and braved the elements.
Your prayers and fellowship is both appreciated and needed. It has
been a long time since I've sent out a Ministry Update. It really was not
intentional. I had one all done complete with pictures and everything when my
computer "crashed" this summer and I lost everything. So, now as we near the end
of our travels for the year I thought I'd best sit down and send you an update
of our activities.
I had every good intention of not getting behind in writing the Up-Dates, BUT good intentions don’t get the job done. Here it is October already. The leaves have changed color and are gently falling. It is a beautiful time of year but we also know that cold and snow are not far behind.
Greetings! It has been a long time since I did a diary. Time and projects have a unique way of getting away from me and I don't get things done like I should. Well, since I last up-dated you, a lot has gone on.
In May we had the Trail Ride on the Sante Fe Trail in Colorado. Although I didn't ride, I went along to make sure there was some grub when they arrived back in camp.
Well, the much anticipated Christmas season and New Year’s has come and gone and we are already well into the year 2008. We did have a great Christmas with our four granddaughters. We had our Christmas on Christmas Eve. It started with the Candlelight Christmas Service at Rush Creek Bible Church. That was a refreshing hour of blessing. Then we went on back to our home for dinner and And then, Christmas Day we were invited to go to our good friends Dave and Mary Plaggemars, and have dinner with them. We enjoyed that very much too.

We are on the road again! As usual, it was hectic getting started. I started gathering things together early hoping to avoid the last minute rush. Lee got the motor home out of the garage, vacuumed it all out and cleaned the carpet before taking it in to get the oil changed and a grease job. We were right on schedule and the motor home would be back on Wednesday, June 6th which would leave us two days to get things put in and organized. Well, best laid plans sometimes never work.

Dear praying and concerns friends!
Here it is the first week of June already. We are almost all packed up and ready to leave for our summer ministry. The trailer with all the "stuff" in it for Cowboy Camp is ready and all that remains is to get the motor home ready and all the "stuff" for Vacation Bible Schools, Crossroads Crusades, etc. gathered together and in place. Then, there is always the question "what did we forget?" And believe me there is always something very important (usually written down on a list somewhere that gets misplaced) that get's forgotten. We not only take the usual - food, clothes, etc. - but have to bring the "office" with us. It is always a challenge. But as we get ready and check things off the many lists, we pray that we will have safety on the highway, and above all a great harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus.
Ministry Update January - March 2007

January was a beautiful month. We had lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 50's and 60's. But winter wasn't over. February brought us lots of cold weather and lots of snow. On the evening of February 3rd we were watching the news and the long list of church closings on Sunday. I believe that was a first to see that most of the area churches were closed. We did get about 24 inches of snow! But, it was so pretty to see all the trees and everything covered. Our daughter, Cari, is getting married in April and we had a bridal shower all planned BUT she couldn't fly out of De Moines nor could the plane have landed in Grand Rapids! So it, too, was postponed. Now it is March and we are already beginning to see signs of spring. How quickly time passes us by.
Dolly's Ministry Update for the end of 2006

Dear Friends, it has been quite some time since I have sent a ministry up-date. It has been impossible for me to keep up this year and I apologize. It was a wonderful, but busy, year of ministry. We praise the Lord for the good Vacation Bible Schools, Cowboy Camps and Crossroads Crusades that have been the highlights of our life.
In my study, “Why Do Good Men Disagree?” (Bible Brief - January, 2007),
I investigated a conflict that all too often occurs between equally
good men, even as with the Apostles Paul and Peter. In that clash, Paul
accused Peter of cowardice, hypocrisy and being disobedient to the “truth of the gospel”
(Gal. 2:1-21). This was a serious quarrel! On another occasion, a
heated conflict broke out between Paul and Barnabas over John Mark “who departed from them and went not with them to the work” of the gospel (Acts 15:37-39).
Here we have a sad and troubling report of the Apostle Paul and the
Apostle Peter in conflict! I am sure that some will find this shocking
and disturbing. It seems unthinkable that two of the great heroes of
the faith - “Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ” – would engage in a heated controversy and
division! And yet, it happened and it still happens today, even among
good Christian men and ministries.

OLD
"JESSE JAMES
GANG!"
At the Cowboy Lee's Cowboy
Family Bible Conference in Hermann, Missouri at the Little Bear Creek Ranch.
Cowboy Dennis Capple will be teach horsemanship with Bible applications. Eddie
Piper will be leading the song service and giving a gospel concert. Pastor Gary
Miller will be teaching and entertaining the children each day AND...LES FELDICK
WILL BE TEACHING THE BIBLE THREE TIMES A DAY.
For time, talent or treasure invested in
the Lord's work, nothing gives us better returns than when it is invested in the
lives of youth. Our other ministries, Literature, Evangelistic Crusades, are
very fruitful. Thank God! But, we dare not forget the young ones. God is still
in the soul saving business and the Gospel is still the power of God unto
salvation.
NO! NO! but, the "BIG TOP REVIVAL TENT" has
arrived for the "COWBOY FAMILY BIBLE CONFERENCE" at the Little Bear Creek Ranch
camp site in Hermann, Missouri.
Our
summer ministry has started and is in full swing. We have been very busy. We had
to get the "Street Bus" ready for travel (trailer hitch, air conditioner and
generator installed; bus seats and seat belts installed) with a great big thanks
to Rick Bultema and others who lent a hand.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)
